Who Is This Guy?
Clay Johnson was born and raised in Durham, NC, where he studied art and art history at Duke University, receiving a B.A. degree in 1985. He then worked for three years as assistant to painter Robert Natkin in Connecticut and New York City. After several years each in San Francisco and Washington, DC, he now lives and works in Corvallis, OR.
Mr. Johnson is a nationally known artist whose work has been widely exhibited and is featured in many prominent collections.
